Richard Wright, keyboardist for Pink Floyd from its first days, has lost his battle with brain cancer.  Pink Floyd has been one of the seminal groups in my development, not only musically, but giving me something to hold on to as a lonely, odd kid in a homogenized suburban landscape.  Rick was a major contributor on Dark Side of the Moon and other recordings of theirs that meant a lot to me, then and now.
